  எல்லாம் வல்ல எமன் உயிரை உடலிலிருந்து பிரிக்க வரும்போது, தன்னை யாரும் அறியாதிருக்க, அந்த உயிர் நன்மை செய்ததா தீமை செய்ததா என்று எண்ணாமல்,

  When the all-powerful Yaman comes to part the soul from the body, unknown to anyone, he does not consider whether that soul did good or evil,

  அந்த உயிர் நீங்கினால் அதைச் சார்ந்தவர்கள் என்ன ஆவார்கள் என்று பார்க்காமல், அது இளையவரா முதியவரா என்று ஆராயாமல்

  he does not look at what will become of those who depended on it once it is gone, and he does not weigh whether it is young or old,

  உயிரை எடுத்துச் சென்றுவிடுவான். ஆகவே, எல்லாம் வல்ல அந்த எமன் வருவதற்கு முன்பே,

  he simply takes the soul away. So, before that all-powerful Yaman comes,

  உயிர் உடலில் நிலைத்திருக்கும்போதே, இறைவனை அடையக்கூடிய நல்ல தருமம் நிறைந்த தவங்களை நீங்கள் செய்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.

  while the soul still stands firm in the body, perform the good, dharma-filled austerities that lead to reaching God.
