  காலையிலும் மாலையிலும் வேத முறைப்படி வேள்விகளை வளர்த்து, அனைத்து உயிர்களையும் அன்போடு இறைவனாகவே பார்க்கும் தண்மையுடன் இருந்து,

  Brahmins who tend the sacred fires morning and evening in the manner laid down by the Vedas, and who hold the coolness of seeing every living being with love as God,

  உயர்ந்த வேதங்களையும் அவற்றின் பொருளான வேதாந்தங்களையும் எப்போதும் சிந்தனையில் வைத்துத் தியானிக்கும் அந்தணர்கள் வாழும் நாடு செழுமையுடன் எல்லா வளங்களும் கொண்டு விளங்கும்.

  and who always keep the exalted Vedas and their meaning, the Vedanta, in their thoughts and meditate upon them: the land where they live will be prosperous, rich in every resource.

  பஞ்சமும் நோயும் இல்லாமல் எப்போதும் சீரும் சிறப்புமாக அந்நாடு விளங்கும்.

  That land will be free of famine and disease, and will forever flourish in glory.

  அந்த நாட்டையும் மக்களையும் ஆளும் மன்னவரும் நலமுடன் இருப்பார்.

  And the king who rules that land and its people will himself be well.
