உரைmeaning
உலகில் கிடைக்கும் செல்வங்கள் எவ்வளவு பெரியதாக இருந்தாலும், அவை உயிர்களுக்குத் துன்பத்தையே தரும் கேடு என்பதை உணர்ந்துகொண்டு, அரிதான வேதத்தைத் தந்த இறைவனை நாடுங்கள். இறைவனை அடைந்து பேரின்பமாகிய இறைச்செல்வம் கிடைக்க வேண்டுமென்று, வேத முறைப்படி யாகத்தை வளர்த்து, அதன் மூலம் அதைப் பெறுவதற்கு உயிர்கள் முயற்சி செய்கின்றனர்.
Realise that however great the wealth found in this world may be, it only brings sorrow to living beings, and it is a ruin. Turn instead to God, who gave the rare Vedas. Wishing to reach God and gain the divine wealth of supreme bliss, living beings tend the yagna in the Vedic manner, striving through it to attain that wealth.
