உரைmeaning
உயிர்களைக் காத்துக்கொண்டு, அவற்றின் துணையாகக் கூடவே இருப்பது, அந்தணர் வளர்க்கும் வேள்வித் தீயினுள் ஜோதியாக இருக்கும் இறைவனே. உயிர்களைக் காத்துத் துணையாக இருக்கும் அந்த இறைவனின் அருள் வேண்டி, அந்தணர்கள் வேள்விகளை முறையாகச் செய்யவேண்டும். முறையாகச் செய்யப்படும் வேள்வியில் இருக்கும் இறைவனுடன் ஹோமத் தீ இணைந்து வளரும்போது, அதன் பயனாகக் கிடைக்கும் இறையருளே உயிர்களுக்குத் துணையாக இருந்து, அவர்களை முக்தி பெறும் தூய்மையான வழியில் நடத்திச் சென்று, முக்தியையும் அளித்துவிடும்.
The one who protects living beings and stands as their companion always is God himself, present as the flame within the sacrificial fire that brahmins tend. Seeking the grace of that God who protects beings and stands as their companion, brahmins must perform their yagnas correctly. When the fire of the homa grows joined with the God present in a yagna performed correctly, the divine grace that comes as its fruit becomes the companion of living beings, leads them along the pure path to liberation, and grants them liberation itself.
