பிற உயிர்களைக் கொன்று அவற்றின் உடலிலிருந்து பெறப்படுவதாலும், மனித உடலுக்குத் தீமை தருவதாலும், பொல்லாத புலாலை (அசைவத்தை) விரும்பிச் சாப்பிடும் கீழ்மையான மக்களை, அவர்கள் இறக்கும் தறுவாயில் அவர்களைச் சுற்றி நின்றவர்கள் அனைவரும் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போதே, எமதர்மனின் தூதுவர்கள் வந்து கரையானைப் போல இறுக்கமாகப் பற்றி இழுத்துக்கொண்டு போய், எப்போதும் எரிந்துகொண்டிருக்கும் கொடிய நரகத் தீயினுள் அவர்களின் முதுகு கீழே பட, முகமும் உடலும் மற்றவர்கள் காணும்படி மேலே தெரிய, மல்லாக்கத் தள்ளிவிட்டு, அந்தத் தீயிலிருந்து தப்பிச் செல்லாதவாறு கதவுகளையும் மூடிவிடுவார்கள்.
Loathsome people who love to eat vile flesh, which is got by killing other beings and taking it from their bodies, and which does harm to the human body, are seized, at the very moment of their death, while everyone standing around them watches, by the messengers of Yama the lord of death, who grip them tightly like a termite and drag them away. They are pushed face-up into the cruel, ever-burning fire of hell, their backs touching the ground and their faces and bodies showing upward for others to see, and the doors are shut so that they cannot escape that fire.
