  உயிர்கள் உலக ஆசையில் எவ்வளவு செல்வங்கள் சேமித்து வைத்திருந்தாலும், ஒருநாள் அவர்களின் உடலைவிட்டு உயிர் பிரிந்து ஓடிவிடும்.

  However much wealth living beings store up out of worldly desire, one day the soul will depart their body and flee.

  உடலைவிட்டு உயிர் வெளியேறும் வழியில் காத்திருந்து அதைக் கவர்ந்துசெல்ல நிற்கும் எம தூதர்களுக்குத் தடையாக இருக்கக்கூடிய ஒரே செல்வம், இறைவனைப் பற்றிய தூய்மையான சிந்தனை மட்டுமே.

  On the path by which the soul leaves the body, the messengers of death wait outside to seize it; the only wealth that can stand as a barrier against them is pure thought fixed on God.

  இறைவனைப் பற்றிய தூய சிந்தனையில் வாழும் உயிர்கள் வெளிவிடும் மூச்சுக்காற்றைச் சுற்றி வருவதற்குக்கூட எம தூதர்கள் பயப்படுவார்கள்.

  Living beings who dwell in such pure thought of God, the messengers of death will fear to even circle the very breath they exhale.

  எனவே எப்போதும் உயிர்களைக் காக்கும் இறைவனையே எண்ணியிருந்து, வீணான செல்வங்களின்மேல் ஆசை வைக்காமல் இருக்க வேண்டும்.

  So one should always keep one's thought on God, who protects living beings, rather than setting desire on futile wealth.
