  நம்முடன் வாழும் மனைவியும் பிள்ளைகளும் உடன்பிறந்தவர்களும்,

  The wife and children and siblings who live with us,

  நாம் சேர்த்துவைத்த செல்வங்களில் தமக்குக் கிடைக்கும் பங்கு எவ்வளவு என்றுதான் கேட்பார்கள்.

  will only ask how large a share of the wealth we have gathered will come to them.

  அவர்களுக்காகவே மேலும் மேலும் செல்வம் சேமிக்கும் மனிதர், இறக்கும் தறுவாயில் கூப்பிட்டழைத்தாலும், உடனே ஓடிவர அவர்களில் யாருமே இருக்கமாட்டார்கள்; அவர் இறந்ததும் சேமித்த செல்வத்தைக் கூறுபோட்டுக்கொள்பவர்களாக மட்டுமே இருப்பார்கள்.

  For a man who keeps gathering more and more wealth for their sake, when his dying hour comes and he calls out to them, not one of them will be there to come running to him at once; once he is dead, they will be there only to divide up the wealth he stored.

  ஆனால் எப்போது கூப்பிட்டாலும் உடனே வந்து அருள்செய்யும் இறைவனின் துணையை விரும்பி, அழிந்துபோகும் செல்வத்தின்மேல் ஆசைவைத்துச் சேமிக்காமல், என்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் இறைவன்மேல் எண்ணம்வைத்து அவனை வணங்கி வழிபடுங்கள்; நீங்கள் கூப்பிட்ட குரலுக்கு அவன் எப்போதும் உடனே வருவான்.

  So instead, desire the help of God, who comes at once whenever he is called and grants his grace; do not set your desire on gathering perishable wealth, but set your mind on the God who alone remains ever stable, and worship and adore him. Whenever you call out to him, he will always come to you at once.
