உயிர்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் இருக்க வேண்டி சம்பாதிக்கும் செல்வங்களும் சொத்துக்களும், ஆற்றில் சென்றுகொண்டிருக்கும் படகு திடீரென வெள்ளம் வந்தால் மூழ்கிவிடுவதுபோலத் திடீரென்று போய்விடும். பெரு வெள்ளம் நிறைந்த கடலில் இருந்தாலும் அதிலுள்ள சிப்பிக்கு எதுவும் ஆவதில்லை; அதேபோல, அழிந்துபோகின்ற இந்த உடலுக்குள்ளேயே என்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் முக்தியை அடையும் வழியாக ஒரு சிமிழை, அதாவது குண்டலினி சக்தியை, இறைவன் வைத்திருப்பதை எவரும் ஆராய்ந்து அறிந்துகொள்வதில்லை.
அழிகின்ற செல்வங்களின் மேல் ஆசை வைக்காமல், என்றும் அழியாத முக்திக்கு வழிதரும் குண்டலினி சக்தியைத் தியானத்தால் எழுப்பி, அதைச் சகஸ்ரதளத்தின் உச்சிக்குக் கொண்டுசேர்த்து, இறைவனை நமக்குள்ளேயே உணர்ந்து அறிவுத் தெளிவு பெற வேண்டும்.
The wealth and possessions that living beings earn in order to be happy vanish suddenly, just as a boat sailing on a river suddenly sinks when a flood comes. Yet, just as the oyster within a great, flood-swollen sea remains unharmed by it, so too, hidden within this perishable body, God has placed a casket, namely the kundalini power, as the way to reach the liberation that alone remains eternal; but no one examines and comes to know this.
Do not set your desire upon this perishable wealth. Instead, awaken through meditation the kundalini power that leads to the liberation which alone never perishes, carry it up to the crown of the Sahasradala, realize God within yourself, and attain clarity of wisdom.
