குருவின் அருளால் தமது மலங்கள் அனைத்தும் நீங்கிச் சென்று சந்திக்க வேண்டியது இறைவனின் திருவடிகளே ஆகும். எப்போதும் சிந்தித்துக்கொண்டே இருக்க வேண்டியது இறைவனின் திருமேனியே ஆகும். உண்மையை மட்டுமே பேசுகின்ற வாயால் எப்போதும் வணங்கித் துதிக்க வேண்டியது இறைவனின் திருநாமமே ஆகும். நெஞ்சத்திலும் எண்ணத்திலும் என்றும் நிலைத்து நிற்க வேண்டியது குருநாதர் கூறிய பொன்னான போதனைகளே ஆகும்.
What one goes and meets, once every impurity has left by the guru's grace, is the sacred feet of God. What one must keep contemplating at all times is the sacred form of God. What the mouth that speaks only truth must always worship and praise is the sacred name of God. And what must stand firm for ever in the heart and in the thought is the golden teaching the guru has given.
