உரைmeaning
குருவின் அருளால் இறைவனைத் தமக்குள் உணர்ந்து தெளிவு பெறுபவர்களுக்கு, இதுவரை அவர்களை ஆட்டிவைத்திருந்த ஐந்து புலன்களும் தாமாகவே அவர்களின் வசமாகும். அவ்வாறு வசமான ஐந்து புலன்களும் தத்தம் தனிப்பட்ட தன்மைகளை இழந்துவிடும். அவ்வாறு தனிப்பட்ட தன்மைகளை இழந்த ஐந்து புலன்களும் அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டுப்பட்டு, அவர்கள் விருப்பம்போல செயல்படுபவையாக மாறிவிடும். அவ்வாறு விருப்பம்போல செயல்படும் ஐம்புலன்களும், அவை வழியாக வந்த மலங்கள் முழுவதும், குருவின் திருவருளால் தாமாகவே அவர்களைவிட்டு நீங்கி, அவர்களின் ஆன்மா மட்டுமே தனித்து இறைவனைச் சென்று சந்திக்கும்.
For those who realise God within themselves by the guru's grace and attain clarity, the five senses that had until then driven them come, on their own, under their control. Those five senses, now under their control, lose their separate individual natures. Those five senses, having lost their separate natures, become bound to them and turn to act just as they wish. And those five senses, acting as they wish, along with every impurity that had come through them, depart on their own, by the guru's own grace, so that the soul alone goes forth, apart, and meets our Lord.
