  குருவின் திருமேனியைத் தரிசித்து, அவரது உருவத்தைத் தம் உருவமாகவே எண்ணித் தியானிப்பது.

  Beholding the guru's own sacred form and meditating on it as one's own form.

  குருவின் திருநாமத்தை மந்திரமாகச் சொல்லிக்கொண்டே தியானிப்பது.

  Repeating the guru's own holy name as a mantra while meditating.

  குருவின் திருவார்த்தைகளைத் தமக்குள்ளே கேட்டு உணர்வது.

  Listening within oneself to the guru's own sacred words and understanding them.

  எப்போதும் குருவின் திருஉருவத்தைத் தம் மனதிற்குள் சிந்தித்துத் தியானிப்பது; இந்த நான்கு செய்கைகளும் மும்மலங்கள் நீங்கி, தாம் யார், இறைவன் யார் என்பதைத் தமக்குள் உணர்ந்து தெளிகின்ற பேரறிவு ஞானத்தைக் கொடுக்கும்.

  Always dwelling in thought and meditation upon the guru's own sacred form within one's mind; these four acts together give the supreme wisdom by which the three impurities depart, and one comes to know clearly who oneself is and who God is.
