சத்தம் முதலாகிய ஐந்து புலன்களும் அவை தோன்றிய இச்சை வழியிலேயே சென்று, அந்த இச்சைகளைத் தீர்த்துப் பின் அடங்கிவிட்டால், ஆன்மாவின் சித்தமாக இருக்கும் இறைவனின் பேரான்மாவோடு போய் சேர்வதைத் தவிர வேறு வழி இருக்கிறதா? இறைவன் இருக்கும் சுத்தமான பரவெளியில் ஆன்ம ஒளி இறைவனின் பேரொளியோடு சேர்ந்துவிடும். பிறவியின் பொருள் இதுதான் என்பதை அனுபவத்தால் அறிந்துகொண்டு, தெளிந்த நீரைப் போல மனம் தெளிந்திருப்பீர்களாக.
The five senses, beginning with sound, follow the way of the desire from which they arose; and once that desire is spent and they subside, is there any place left for the soul's own consciousness to reach, other than to go and join God's supreme consciousness? In the pure vast expanse where God dwells, the soul's light will join his supreme light. Know through experience that this, and nothing else, is the meaning of birth, and let your mind be clear, like clear water.
