உரைmeaning
சித்தர்கள் என்பவர்கள் சிவ உலகத்தை இறைவனின் அருளால் மண்ணுலகிலேயே தரிசித்தவர்களாகவும், ஓசையும் அவ்வோசையின் முடிவில் இருக்கும் அமைதியையும் பேரானந்தத்தையும் தமக்குள்ளே உணர்ந்தவர்களாகவும், என்றும் அழிவில்லாதவர்களாகவும், மும்மல அழுக்குகள் இல்லாதவர்களாகவும், உலகப் பற்றுக்கள் இல்லாதவர்களாகவும் இருக்கிறார்கள். இவர்கள் உடம்புடன் இருக்கும்போதே இறைவனின் அருளால் முக்திபெற்றவர்கள். இவர்கள் பெற்ற முக்திக்கு முழுமுதல் காரணமாக இருந்தது முப்பத்தாறு தத்துவங்களே ஆகும்; அவை ஆன்ம தத்துவம் இருபத்தி நான்கு (ஆன்ம ஞானம்), வித்தியா தத்துவம் ஏழு (கலை/அறிவு ஞானம்), சிவ தத்துவம் ஐந்து (பரம்பொருள் ஞானம்) ஆக மொத்தம் முப்பத்தாறு தத்துவங்கள்.
Siddhars are those who, by God's grace, have witnessed the world of Sivam here on this earth itself; who have realised within themselves both sound and the peace and supreme bliss that lie at the end of that sound; who are forever imperishable, free of the three impurities, and free of worldly attachment. They are ones who attained liberation by God's grace while still embodied. And the root cause of the liberation they attained was the thirty-six tattvas, namely twenty-four atma-tattvas (knowledge of the self), seven vidya-tattvas (the knowledge of art and learning), and five siva-tattvas (knowledge of the supreme being), thirty-six tattvas in all.
