உயிர்கள் மீண்டும் பிறப்பதற்குக் காரணமாக இருக்கும் வினைகளை அழித்தருள குருநாதராக வந்த இறைவன் உபதேசித்த பேரறிவு ஞானம் மிகவும் வாய்க்கப்பெற்று, அந்தப் பேரறிவு ஞானத்தின் மூலம் மல மாசு இல்லாத சுத்தமான ஆன்மாவாகப் பிறந்து, உலகப் பற்றுக்களை உதறிவிட்டு, ஐம்புலன்களைக் கொண்ட உயிரும் உடலும் ஒன்றாகச் சேர்ந்திருக்கும்போதே இறந்துபோன உடலைப் போல அசைவற்று, எப்போதும் இறைவனின் நினைப்பிலேயே இருப்பவர்கள் சிவயோகியர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.
Those who receive abundantly the supreme wisdom taught by the God who came as guru to destroy, in grace, the karmas that cause souls to be born again; who through that supreme wisdom are born as a pure soul free of the impurities; who shake off worldly attachments; and who, even while the five-sensed soul and the body remain joined as one, stay motionless like a dead body, forever fixed in thought of God, these are the Sivayogis.
