எங்கள் ஆன்மாக்களின் மேல் இருந்த மும்மலங்களான ஆணவம், கன்மம், மாயையைத் தன் அருள்பார்வையால் அகற்றி, எமது ஞானக்கண்ணைத் திறந்தான், குருநாதராக வந்த இறைவன். எவ்வித மலமும் நெருங்க முடியாத மாசற்ற தன் அருள்பேரொளியையும் அவனே காட்டினான். மும்மலங்கள் அகன்றதால் பளிங்கு போல தூய்மையானவைகளாக மாறிய எங்கள் ஆன்மாக்களின் மேல், பவளம் போன்ற தன் திருவருளை அவனே பதித்தான், எமக்குத் தலைவனாக இருப்பவன்.
The God who came as our guru removed, through the glance of his grace, the three impurities upon our souls, egoism, karma and maya, and opened our eye of wisdom. He himself showed his own stainless, supreme light of grace, which no impurity can come near. And upon our souls, which had turned crystal clear once the three impurities were removed, he, our Lord, set his own grace like coral set upon crystal.
