  உண்மை ஞானம் இல்லாதவர்கள் பொய்யாக வேடம் அணிந்தால், நரகத்திற்கே செல்வார்கள்.

  Those who have no true wisdom, if they put on a garb falsely, go to hell itself.

  உண்மை ஞானத்தை உடையவர்கள் வேடம் அணிந்து இல்லாமல் இருந்தாலும், நன்மையான முக்தியைப் பெறுவார்கள்.

  Those who possess true wisdom, even if they wear no garb at all, gain the good liberation.

  உண்மை ஞானம் தமக்குள் உருவாக வேண்டும் என்று விரும்புபவர்கள், மகா நிர்வாண நிலையில் இருக்கின்ற இறைவனின் அருகாமையை விரும்புவார்கள்.

  Those who wish that true wisdom should arise within them long for the nearness of God, who abides in the state of maha nirvana.

  உண்மை ஞானத்தைப் பெறுவதற்கு உள்ள வேடத்தைத் தங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று வேண்டி நிற்பார்கள்.

  They stand praying that the garb by which true wisdom is gained may be granted to them.
