  அறிவு சிவமாகவே ஆகுவதற்கு, உடலால் செய்கின்ற தவ வழிமுறைகள் எதுவும் வேண்டியதில்லை; ஆதலால், அறிவினால் இறைவனை எண்ணிக்கொண்டு இருந்தாலே போதும்.

  For the knowing mind to become Siva itself, no way of austerity performed with the body is needed; it is enough to hold God in the knowing mind.

  இவ்வாறு இறைவனை எண்ணிக்கொண்டு இருப்பதனால் அறிவு சிவமாகிப் பேரின்பத்தை அடைந்தவர்கள், அனைத்தையும் விட்டு விலகி இருந்ததனாலேயே அதை அடைந்தார்கள்.

  Those whose knowing mind became Siva in this way and reached the great bliss reached it precisely because they stood apart from everything else.

  அதன் விளைவாக அறிவு சிவமாகவே ஆகிவிடும்போது, அதனால் கிடைக்கின்ற இறை அருளே முக்தியாகவும் இருக்கின்றது.

  And when the knowing mind so becomes Siva, the grace of God that comes of it is itself release.

  இவ்வாறு அறிவு சிவமாகவே ஆகுவது, இறைவனைப் பற்றி மட்டுமே எண்ணிக்கொண்டே இருக்கின்ற தவத்தின் பலனால் ஆகும்.

  That the knowing mind becomes Siva in this way is the fruit of the austerity of holding God alone in thought.
