  தவத்தினால் கிடைக்கும் பயன் இது என்பதை அறிந்து உணர்ந்தவர்களே, ஆதிகாலத்திலிருந்து உண்மையான தவத்தைச் செய்கின்றார்கள்.

  Those who have known and realized what the fruit of austerity is are the ones who, from the earliest times, have done true austerity.

  அந்தப் பயனை மற்றவர்களும் பெறுவதற்காக, தாம் அறிந்துகொண்ட தவம் செய்யும் வழிமுறைகளைத் தகுதியானவர்களும் அறிந்துகொள்ளும்படி காட்டிக் கொடுக்கின்றார்கள்.

  So that others may gain that same fruit, they show the ways of doing austerity that they came to know, in such a way that those who are fit may know them too.

  இப்படி மற்றவர்களும் பயன் பெற வழி வகுத்துக் கொடுத்ததனால், உண்மையான தர்மத்தைச் செய்தவர்கள் ஆகின்றார்கள்.

  By opening a way for others to gain the fruit in this manner, they become those who have done true dharma.

  ஆகவே இவர்களே, விண்ணுலகில் இருக்கும் தேவர்களைவிடவும், மண்ணுலகில் இருக்கின்ற உயிர்களைவிடவும் உயர்ந்தவர்களாக இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

  And so it is they who stand higher than the celestials in the world above and higher than the lives in the world of earth.
