  பிரணவ மந்திரமாகிய ஓங்காரத்தின் ஒலிக்கு உள்ளே இருக்கின்ற ஒளி வடிவான இறைவனே சாதகருக்குள்ளும் ஜோதியாக வெளிப்படுகின்றான்; மனதை ஒரு முகப்படுத்துவதன் மூலம் அவனை உணர முடியும்.

  God, who is of the form of light and dwells within the sound of Omkaram, the pranava mantra, manifests as a flame within the practitioner too, and is realized by gathering the mind to one point.

  அவ்வாறு உணர்ந்து அகங்காரத்தை அழித்து, இறைவனும் தானும் வேறு வேறு இல்லை எனும் நிலையைப் பெற்று அடைய முடியாதவர்களும் இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

  There are those who cannot by that destroy their egoism and reach the state in which God and oneself are not two different things.

  அத்தகையவர்கள் தாம் இறக்கும் காலம் ஒன்று வரும் என்பதை நினைக்காமல் இருப்பதால், இனி எப்போதும் பிறக்காமல் இருக்கின்ற பெரும் நிலையைச் சார்ந்திருக்கின்ற வழிமுறைகளில் செல்வதில்லை.

  Such people do not think that a time will come when they die, and so they do not go by the ways that hold to the great state of never being born again.

  தாம் கடைபிடிக்கின்ற வழியே எப்போதும் சிறந்தது என்று ஓயாமல் தங்களுக்குள் சண்டை போட்டுக்கொண்டு இருக்கின்ற சமயங்களின் கொள்கைகளின் வழியில் நின்று, அங்கேயே இறந்து அழிந்து போகின்றார்கள்.

  They stand instead in the ways of the doctrines of the religions, which quarrel among themselves without cease, each holding that its own way alone is always the best, and there they die and perish.
