  உயிர்களுக்குத் தியானத்தின் மூலம் உண்மை நிலையை அறிந்துகொள்ளும் வாய்ப்பு திருவருளால் பரிசாக உள்ளது; இது தேவர்களுக்கும் கிடையாதது.

  For souls, the chance to know the true state through meditation is a gift given by divine grace, one that even the gods do not have.

  அறியாமையால், தேவர்கள் திருப்பாற்கடலைக் கருவாகக் கொண்டு கடைந்து அமுது உண்டார்கள்.

  Out of not knowing this, the gods took the milk ocean as their churn and drank the nectar they drew.

  ஆனால் அவர்களால் உருவமற்ற மலையேறி அமுது உண்ண முடியாது.

  But they cannot climb the formless mountain and drink the nectar there.

  தியானத்தால் தமக்குள் அமுதம் ஊறச் செய்வோர்க்கு, முடிவில்லாத ஆசை கொண்ட மனம் அடங்கப்பெற்றுச் சமாதி நிலை வாய்க்கும்; அது தேவர்கள் கடைந்த அமுதை விட உயர்வானது.

  For those who, through meditation, cause nectar to well up within themselves, the endlessly craving mind is stilled and the state of Samadhi is granted, and that is greater than the nectar the gods churned.
