உரைmeaning
கட்டுப்பாடின்றி உடம்பின் மேலும் கீழும் செல்லும் பிராணவாயுவை, வீட்டைப் பூட்டி அதைத் தன் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் வைப்பதைப் போல, உடம்பினுள் கட்டுப்படுத்தி வைத்து, ஆசைப்பட்டு வெளியே அலையும் மனதை ஒருமுகப்படுத்தி, வெளியில் பார்க்கும் பார்வையை உள்நோக்கித் திருப்பித் தியானத்தில் அமர்ந்திருந்தால், மாம்பழமும் இனிப்பும் போன்று, இறைவனுடன் ஒன்றிச் சமாதியில் இருக்கலாம்.
Just as one who locks a house holds it under one's own control, so, holding under control within the body the vital breath that moves without restraint through the body's upper and lower reaches, gathering into one the mind that wanders outside in desire, turning the gaze that looks outward back inward and sitting in meditation, one may abide united with God in Samadhi, sweet as the mango hanging ripe in the garden.
