  இவ்வுலக உயிர்கள் மீண்டும் மனிதப் பிறவி எடுக்க வேண்டுமெனில், அதற்குப் பல நல்ல அறங்களைச் செய்திருக்க வேண்டும்;

  If the living beings of this world wish to be born again as human beings, they must have performed many good deeds of righteousness;

  ஆகவே, மீண்டும் மனிதராகப் பிறக்க விரும்பினால் பல நல்ல காரியங்களைச் செய்து மற்றவர்களுக்கு நன்மை செய்யுங்கள். இந்தப் பிறவியே போதும், இனிமேல் பிறவி வேண்டாம், இறைவனை அடைந்து முக்தி பெற வேண்டும் என்றால், இறைவனை நாடி அவனை எண்ணத்தில் எப்போதும் வைத்துப் போற்றி வழிபடுங்கள்.

  So if you wish to be born human again, do many good deeds and bring good to others. If, instead, you wish to say that this birth alone is enough, that you want no further birth, and that you wish to reach God and attain liberation, then seek God, hold him always in your thought, and worship and adore him.

  நல்ல அறங்களைச் செய்து இந்தப் பிறவியில் சிறந்த மனிதப் பிறப்பை எடுத்தவர்களுக்கு,

  For those who have performed good deeds of righteousness and taken this excellent birth as a human being,

  இந்த இரண்டு விதிகளைத் தவிர, சிறப்பாகச் சொல்வதற்கு வேறு விதிகள் இல்லை.

  there is no other rule of any real distinction worth stating besides these two.
