உரைmeaning
உயிர்களின் உடலுக்குத் தீயிட்டால் வெந்துபோகும்; அப்படிப்பட்ட இந்த உடலின் தலைவனாக இருப்பவனும், வேதங்களின் வழியே வினைகளை அழித்துத் தன்னை அடைவிக்க உயிர்களின் உள்ளிருந்தே தன் திருவிளையாடலால் உணர்த்தி குருவாக நிற்பவனும் ஆகிய கூத்தனான இறைவன். உயிர்கள் தம் உடலுக்குள்ளேயே இருந்து விளையாடும் உயிராக இருப்பது இறைவனே என்னும் மாபெரும் ரகசியத்தை அறியாதவர்களாகவும், அண்டசராசரங்களையும் அவற்றுள் உள்ள அனைத்தையும் தாங்கவல்ல இறைவனே தமக்குள்ளும் உயிராக இருந்து தம்மையும் தாங்குகிறான் என்பதை அறியாதவர்களாகவும் இருக்கின்றார்கள்.
உயிர் என்பதே இறைவன்தான். அந்த உயிர் எடுக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு பிறவியிலும் உடலுக்குள் வந்து, அந்தப் பிறவியின் வினைக்கேற்ப உள்ளிருந்தே ஆட்டிவைத்து, அந்த வினையை அழிப்பதும் இறைவனே. இந்த ரகசியத்தை அறியாமலேயே இருக்கின்றனர் உயிர்கள்.
This body, if set alight, will burn away; the one who is the lord even of this body, who through the path of the Vedas destroys karma so that souls may reach him, who from within them makes himself known through his own sacred play, and who stands as their guru, is that dancing God. Living beings remain unaware of the great secret that the very soul that plays within their own body is God himself, and unaware that the same God, who alone can bear the weight of the universe and everything within it, also bears them by dwelling within them as their soul.
The soul itself is God. In every birth that soul takes, God enters the body, guides it from within according to the karma of that birth, and it is God who then destroys that karma. Living beings remain unaware of this secret.
