  கூடிக் கலந்து மகிழ்ந்திருந்தவர்கள், காலப்போக்கில் ஆரம்பக் காதலையும் பாச நினைவுகளையும் மறந்து, ஒருவர்மேல் ஒருவர் திகட்டிச் சலிப்படைந்துவிடுகிறார்கள்.

  Having delighted in each other's company, in time they forgot the love and tender thoughts they began with, and grew sated and weary of one another.
