  மனைவி, குழந்தைகள், உறவினர், சுற்றத்தார், ஊரார் என அனைவரும் ஒன்றாகக் கூடிச் சத்தமிட்டு அழுது புலம்புகிறார்கள்.

  The wife, children, relatives, kinsfolk and townspeople all gather together and weep and wail aloud.

  அதுவரை இருந்த பெயரைச் சொல்லிக் கூப்பிடாமல், பிணம் என்று ஒரு பெயரை வைத்துவிடுகிறார்கள்.

  They stop calling him by the name he had until then, and give him instead the name corpse.

  அனைவரும் சேர்ந்து உடலைத் தூக்கிச் சென்று, ஊருக்கு வெளியே சூரைப் புதர்கள் நிறைந்த சுடுகாட்டில் வைத்து எரித்துவிடுகிறார்கள்.
