தான் அடைந்த அனுபூதி நிலை முற்றிலும் தனிமையானது, தன்னந்தனியாக நின்றது என்று அருணகிரிநாதர் இப்பாடலில் சொல்கிறார். அத்தகைய அனுபவத்தை இன்னும் யாருக்காவது சொல்லி, அவரும் அதே நிலையை அடையுமாறு செய்யமுடியுமா என்று கேட்கும்போது, அது இயலாத ஒன்று என்பதே பதிலாகத் தொனிக்கிறது; ஏனெனில் மெய்யான அக அனுபவத்தை வார்த்தையால் இன்னொருவருக்குக் கடத்திவிட முடியாது. ஒளிவீசும் வேலேந்திய, தேவைக்கேற்ப வடிவம் மாறும் விந்தையான முருகனை நினைப்பவர்களின் குறைகளையெல்லாம் அவனது கருணை சூழ்ந்த ஒளியே போக்குகிறது என்று உறுதி கூறுகிறார். அனுபவம் தனிப்பட்டதாக இருந்தாலும், அதற்கு வழிகாட்டும் அருள் எல்லோருக்கும் பொதுவானது என்பதை இப்பாடல் நினைவூட்டுகிறது.
Arunagirinathar reflects here that the state of realization he reached stood utterly alone, known only to himself, and he wonders whether such an experience could even be passed on so another person might reach it too. The implied answer is no, true inner experience cannot be handed over in words. Yet he affirms that Murugan, the wondrous one who bears a shining spear and takes whatever form is needed, still removes the troubles of anyone who simply keeps him in mind, through a light wrapped in compassion. The experience itself may be solitary, but the grace that leads to it is available to everyone.
